Flourless Flaxseed Cookies
Yes, I know, another healthy, gluten free, diet-conscious, nutrition-laden recipe… but it is a must creation for my brother! 🙂 After this, one we’ll go back to sinful chocolate cakes… I promise.
These cookies are similar to Healthy Oat Cookies, and are flourless, eggless and filled with flaxseeds. They are simple, easy to make, and can be played with adding any flavour of your choice (peanut or almond butter, nuts, seeds…). It takes a total of not more than 30 minutes, and 20 minutes if you are as efficient as me.
I recently went for a talk on morality, which hosted a panel of three very well known personalities: Zia Mody, Dushyant Dave and Menaka Doshi. Is there a definite line black and white in morality? Or is there simply a large area of grey?
The audience was asked to raise their hand if they would kill one innocent to save four innocents? Nobody answered. There are no justified reasons to kill or hurt an innocent.
Yet we have thousands of soldiers ready to be sent to war at any given point, ready to sacrifice their lives for the protection of the rest of the citizens. Are they not innocent?
It’s true we live in a world of grey, but it has not just started in our present world. We have experienced the grey mode ever since civilization began. The feudal system, caste hierarchy, and food tasters for the royals are just a few examples. This is the universal truth.
Yes, it has gotten much worse today, but aren’t we ourselves to blame for that? Some win, some lose. In the end, it’s all about how far you personally will go for a truth, for your family and for your personal motives.
