A little consideration, a little though for others makes all the difference. Eeyore

The past week so many amazing things happened which instilled my faith in myself again and also that there are indeed nice people out there! One of the instances: on a flight back home a lady approached me with her kid and asked if I was Kamini Patel, the author, which took me by surprise because its been over 4 years since my novel was published, and I’ve been hibernating since. She told me she loved reading it and wanted a selfie with me! Thank you lady, and I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name, but you have encouraged me to continue writing and hopefully a new book will be out soon J And thank you for giving me a celebrity moment!

Okay, back to Kitchen Therapy: smoothies are a God-send to those pressed for time, and lets be honest, we are always pressed for time. Put a whole bunch of good-for-you foods together, crush and fill your to-go cup and rush.

Today, we are still playing matcha powder and it’s the easiest way to incorporate in the smoothie. Matcha’s antioxidants and the energy from milk and banana provides substantial fulfilling-ness and boost the body needs in the A.M.

I like to freeze the banana to thicken the smoothie. But that is entirely up to you. SPRIG’s Bourbon Vanilla is a magnificent paste that you can immediately tell is made from real good stuff – vanilla beans from Madagascar. The matcha, well, we’ve already covered that here.
