Salads
This is one of the best salad dressings that deserves a constant position in your fridge. But for this dressing you absolutely must use Dijon mustard – under no circumstance must you replace with whole grain or the plastic stuff that you squeeze out of a tube.
This is a dressing that is slightly on the sour side but perfect with fleshy avocado and medley of greens.

Ingredients
- Dressing:
- 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- Salad:
- 100g lettuce leaves
- 1 avocado, cubed
- 15-20 onion slices
- flaked almonds
Instructions
- Whisk all the dressing ingredients and store in an airtight container in the fridge
- Toss the salad with the dressing and serve cold, and immediately
